He is a trained computer scientist thanks to a degree from the University of Central Arkansas and he has also gained certification as a Unifi Network Specialist which is not an easy qualification to obtain. He has leveraged these assets to move along a steadily advancing career in software and systems engineering. In the early days he worked as a computer analyst at Vicomp Inc, a network specialist at Lindsey Software, and a systems engineer at Active Network LLC.
In between this, he also spent 3 years as a partner at CK’s Signs and Banners where he got his first real taste of entrepreneurship. He managed all the purchasing, sales, and production which really taught him a lot about what makes businesses tick and how the right strategies can make all the difference over the long term.
Fast forward to today and he works as a senior systems engineer at Mainstreet Inc, managing all the technological aspects of the retail POS devices across 2000 locations nationwide. What he’s been able to achieve here, at scale, is remarkable. His ability to seamlessly manage these projects and ensure that the systems are set up to be as efficiently as possible points to his eye for business and his ability to generate results even when there are resource constraints.
