Mark studied law in New York and eventually specialized in tax specifically, becoming a certified tax professional along the way. His early years as an associate were at Joseph & Company where he worked tirelessly on resolving complex and nuanced tax issues. It was from there that he moved onto SFA Inc. in Danbury, where he worked his way up the ladder all the way to the Chief Compliance Officer role which he still holds to this day. Here, he advises senior management on all compliance issues, manages a team who continually work to maintain the highest of compliance standards, and he helps to craft the future for new projects so that they can be sustainable over the long term.
In addition, he also consults for Intuit as a senior tax expert, helping clients navigate the murky waters of US taxation with aplomb. He does this because he loves giving back and helping others through the years of experience he’s gained in the world of tax.
